Just two days after being announced as the new manager of Lazio, the widely beloved but admittedly abrasive Marcelo Bielsa has resigned. Bielsa is reportedly unhappy with the club’s transfer strategy, which seems like something he should have figured out before signing a contract. Lazio is considering suing him.

Lazio has asked former youth and interim boss Simone Inzaghi to take over, but he might not be interested. There’s a lot of speculation circulating about Bielsa taking the vacant national team post in his native Argentina, but no one reliable is reporting that at this time.
