The Spanish season is about to begin, with Barcelona and Sevilla squaring off in the Spanish Super Cup in Spain's annual curtain-raising match. It promises to be an exciting affair, a rematch of the two sides who battled to a 2-0 extra time win for Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final last season.

This will actually be Sevilla’s second Supercup match in a week, having taken defending Champions League winners Real Madrid to the limit in a 3-2 extra time loss in the UEFA Supercup on Tuesday. They’re ready for the challenge facing Barcelona brings, and they’re going to take this match to the limit too. All eyes will be on Seville for this match, because it will set the tone for the season to come in Spain.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen will miss the game with Barca for a knee injury, while Neymar is unavailable due to his participation in the Olympics. Michael Krohn-Dehli is definitely out for Sevilla, while their defense is a bit shaky thanks to Nico Parejo and Daniel Carrico carrying knocks.
