The second of the Olympic men’s football semifinals sees Nigeria go head-to-head with Germany in São Paulo on Wednesday. On paper, it’s Germany who have the advantage: in the likes of Max Meyer and Julian Brandt they have two of the most talented players in world football in their ranks, and they made them count by thrashing Portugal 4-0 in the last round. They are certainly a scary team.
Nigeria vs. Germany 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Olympic soccer online
Nigeria take on an ominously impressive Germany in the second of the men’s Olympic football semifinals.

The game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET. You can watch online and on your mobile device on NBC’s Olympics coverage.
Germany should certainly be aware of underestimating their opponents, despite their own quality. Nigeria have brought a strong team to the Olympics, and captained by Chelsea’s midfield veteran John Obi Mikel, they’ll be looking to repeat the performance that saw them reach the final in London four years ago (where they were eventually beaten by Argentina). However, there are still questions to be asked of their defense: they shipped four goals in their Olympic opener against Japan and breezed past Denmark 2-0 in the quarterfinals.
