Real Madrid started the La Liga season with a routine 3-0 victory over Real Sociedad, and will look to build on that in their first home match against Celta Vigo on Saturday. Zinedine Zidane's side have remarkably won only one league title since 2008, but will be hoping that this is the season they can topple Barcelona once again. They'll want to avoid dropping points at this early stage of the season.

However, Celta Vigo could be a tougher opponent than you’d imagine. They finished in a solid sixth place last season, with Argentine coach Eduardo Berizzo having impressed since taking charge of the club for whom he made over a century of appearances as a player. Over the summer they did lose star attacker Nolito to Manchester City, but reinvested well with the signing of Danish talent Pione Sisto. They’ll be hoping to pull off a big upset on the back of a disappointing season-opening defeat to newly promoted Leganés.

Celta’s outside chance of picking up a point or three are boosted by the continued absences of some familiar Madrilenian faces. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas and attackers Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are both out, though Luka Modrić should make his first league appearance of the season after suspension. Celta should have striker Iago Aspas back from injury, though Claudio Beauvue and Rubén Blanco are out injured.
