Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Barcelona ran rampant in their first match of the season, and now turn to a deeply unsettled Athletic side.

Athletic Bilbao did not get off to the smoothest of starts to their season, losing to Sporting Gijon on the road in a match that made Ernesto Valverde's side look disorganized, chaotic, and not nearly ready for the season. They've been working hard in the week since then to sort out their woes -- but now they get to test themselves against the juggernaut that is Barcelona.

The blaugranes got off to a fantastic start to their season with an emphatic 6-2 win over Real Betis, lead by a Lionel Messi brace and a Luis Suarez hat trick as the fearsome attacking duo look to already be in mid-season form. More than that, though, the side as a whole looked ready and eager to show the league that surviving to win last year’s La Liga title against Real Madrid’s late charge was no fluke, and that they can come out and dominate the league once more.

Even without several key players thanks to injuries or, in Neymar’s case, much-needed time off to rest after the Olympics, Barcelona ran rampant, and unless Athletic are vastly improved from a week ago, it looks like Barcelona will run rampant again. This trip out to the Basque country used to intimidate even the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid -- but this time, the blaugranes are only hungrier for the challenge.
