Fulham defender plays ball off his back on purpose, beats his man with 360 spin move

Wheeeeeee!

Meet Belgian defender Denis Odoi. In his debut for Fulham on Friday, he did this.

I can honestly say I have never seen anyone do that in a high-level competitive game in my life, and I’ve never seen a defender not named Dani Alves or Roberto Carlos do anything remotely like it.

Since it doesn’t count unless there’s an end product, Odoi got rave reviews for his attacking and defending in Fulham’s 1-0 win over Championship favorites Newcastle. Not a bad way to announce yourself.
