Portugal are riding a bit of a high after the first round of 2016 Olympics group stage action for men’s soccer, having fought hard to earn a two-goal win over Argentina thanks to a strong second half performance. But first Portugal have to get past Honduras, and that’s easier said than done.
Portugal vs. Honduras 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Olympic soccer online
Portugal are feeling great after a big group-opening win -- but they can’t afford to look past Honduras at all if they want to stay on track.

The match will be shown online in the United States on NBCOlympics.com and NBC Sports Live Extra. It won't be shown online in Honduras or Portugal, but you can find listings for other countries on LiveSoccerTV.
Portugal has one of the most talented youth sides in the world and one well deserving of their place here, and if they can continue to show the quality that they did against some of the best young players in South America, they have a chance to make a huge impact on this tournament.
The Hondurans are coming off a confidence-boosting win of their own, a rousing 3-2 win over a tough and talented Algeria side that was, frankly, not near as close a match in the run of play as the scoreline might make you think. This Honduran youth side is one that’s caused constant surprises to those who haven’t taken them seriously enough, and Portugal can’t afford to give them any leniency if they want to make sure to walk out of this match with a win.
TV: Claro Sports (Honduras), SportTV1 (Portugal)
