Everton donates £200,000 to help fund cancer treatment for 5-year-old Sunderland fan

There are lots of bad stories that pop up in this space, or divisive stories, so here’s an unequivocally good story.

5-year-old Sunderland supporter Bradley Lowery is trying to raise money to fund his cancer treatment. After the game between Sunderland and Everton on Monday night, Everton announced that they’d be donating £200,000 to the campaign to fund his treatment, and they invited him to the return fixture in Liverpool.
