Mexico vs. El Salvador 2016 live stream: How to watch World Cup 2018 qualifying online

Mexico don’t need a win to top their CONCACAF World Cup qualifying group, but they’re going to gun for a big win anyway.

Mexico have already guaranteed their place in the next round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, earning their place in the final Hex round with four wins in their first four matches in the group stage. But that doesn't mean Mexico are going to take it easy against El Salvador -- no, they're going to keep going for the throat, trying to put their lackluster Copa America Centenario performance behind them.

Mexico weren't nearly as dominant in the group stage of that competition as many expected, and they were utterly ran over by Chile to the tune of a 7-0 loss in the first knockout round. Now, Chile were the eventual winners and they played some fantastic soccer in that competition, but for Mexico it's a performance that's going to stick in their craw until they can find a way to get past it. Battering El Salvador away from home would be a good way to do that, even if the match technically doesn't mean a thing for El Tri.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you can stream it on beIN Sports Connect. It won’t be shown online in Mexico or El Salvador, but you can find listings for other countries on LiveSoccerTV.
