Leicester City vs. Porto 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule, and how to watch Champions League online

Leicester are facing a much, much more challenging opponent than they did in their first group stage match.

Their debut in the Champions League couldn't have gone much better for Leicester City, easily battering Club Brugge in Belgium to end the first round of group stage action on top of their group. Their second match will see the first Champions League game to be played in King Power Stadium -- but it's also going to see the Foxes given a much, much more difficult challenge.

Porto are a talented side, much more so than Brugge, and even if they’re not quite as much of a power as they used to be, the Portuguese side will be a tricky test for Leicester to deal with. They’ve lost just one competitive match this season -- and that on the road to an excellent Sporting Clube de Portugal team -- and their combination of a hard-nosed defense and highly active midfield will give their English opponents fits.

Leicester’s best chance in the match will be to find a way to take firm control of midfield quickly, but that’s been something difficult for them this season. They’ve struggled to replace the impactful presence of N’Golo Kanté, and while their attack is more dynamic and potent than it was a year ago, if Leicester can’t find a way to contain Porto’s midfield with their own, that attack will be starved of any meaningful service.

This match will serve as a real litmus test for Leicester City, and not just for their Champions League aspirations. If they can find a way to convincingly beat Porto, it will serve as a real sign that they’re starting to put their early season struggles behind them and can be a team to be reckoned with in the EPL again.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you can use the Fox Soccer 2GO subscription service. In England, it will be shown online on BT Sport Live Streaming, and while it won’t be streamed in Portugal, you can find listings in other countries on LiveSoccerTV.
