Manchester United has 2 of the worst misses of the season back to back against West Ham

How???

It’s bad enough to miss once from point-blank range. But Manchester United has the special distinction of missing two absolute sitters in less than five seconds, with Antonio Valencia failing to hit the back of the net on the first shot and Jesse Lingard botching the second.

While it’s tough to defend Valencia and Lingard for finding a way to not score on this sequence, you can’t take anything away from West Ham United goalkeeper Darren Randolph. He made two excellent reaction saves to keep United from scoring.

This is how close the ball was to crossing the line.

It’s been an incredibly unlucky season for Manchester United.
