Napoli have recovered from a worrying wobble by recording five wins in their last six Serie A matches, and Maurizio Sarri's men will look to close the gap on league leaders Juventus yet further on Saturday, when they travel to play Vincenzo Montella's AC Milan at the San Siro. It is certainly one of the weekend's more intriguing fixtures.

That’s not least because Milan have begun to find their feet since Montella arrived in the summer, and find themselves only four points adrift of Napoli with a game in hand. They’re unbeaten in five in all competitions, and are in the hunt for the Champions League places. With home advantage on their side, they should be confident.

Three big things to know

1. Milan have a shortage of midfielders at present: Riccardo Montolivo, Matías Fernández, and Andrea Poli are all injured, while Manuel Locatelli will miss this one through suspension. Young defender Alessio Romagnoli is also serving a ban, which should pave the way for Gustavo Gómez to start.

2. Napoli have been hit by an AFCON exodus, with Kalidou Koulibali, Faouzi Ghoulam, and Omar El Kaddouri having all joined up with their national teams. However, the only player on the treatment table is striker Arkadiusz Milik, who continues to recover from a serious knee injury.

3. Napoli have enjoyed playing against Milan recently, having won five of the last seven meetings between these sides. Indeed, they thrashed the Rossoneri on their last visit in Oct. 2015, with Lorenzo Insigne netting a brace in a massive 4-0 win.
