Borussia Dortmund vs. Werder Bremen 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Borussia Dortmund will look to end their run of poor form away at Werder Bremen on Saturday.

After a great start to the season, Borussia Dortmund tailed off towards the end of 2016. Thomas Tuchel's side won only one of their five Bundesliga games preceding the winter break, and slipped down to sixth in the table. Hertha Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Hoffenheim all currently stand between them and the top three.

However, they'll certainly be expecting to get back to winning ways when domestic football returns on Saturday. Three convincing friendly victories should have given Dortmund renewed confidence ahead of their trip to struggling Werder Bremen, who currently sit just three points above the bottom three. Anything other than a win would disappoint Dortmund supporters.

Three big things to know

1. Werder Bremen will be without four players through injury: Florian Grillitsch, Izet Hajrović, Philipp Bargfrede, and Zlatko Junuzović are all unavailable, though young coach Alexander Nouri should otherwise have a full-strength team available.

2. Borussia Dortmund's biggest absentee is that of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has joined up with the Gabon national team for the Africa Cup of Nations. Other first-team regulars who will miss this match include Roman Bürki and Nuri Şahin, while Sven Bender and Neven Subotić are still on the treatment table.

3. Borussia Dortmund have won three straight matches against Werder Bremen, and nine of their last 10 encounters. Werder’s only victory in that spell came back in 2014, when they earned a 2-1 win at the Weserstadion.
