Barcelona vs. Eibar 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Barcelona should have too much for Eibar on Sunday.

Real Madrid's defeat to Sevilla last weekend has provisionally allowed Barcelona to reduce their deficit to the table toppers to just two points. They'll hope it comes down yet further this weekend, as they travel to play mid-table Eibar on Sunday. Anything other than a convincing victory would be very unsatisfactory for Luis Enrique's men.

Eibar are no doubt enjoying an excellent season so far, and head into the round in ninth place. They’re already 14 points clear of the relegation zone, and the Basque outfit are very much on course to extend their stay in the Spanish top flight. However, they’ve managed to win only once since November, and Barça are likely to prove too strong an opponent.

Three big things to know

1. Eibar will be without Iván Ramis, Kike García, Anaitz Arbilla, David Juncà and Asier Riesgo, who are all currently sidelined with various injury problems.

2. Barça's injury list is rather shorter: only midfielder Rafinha is on the treatment table, though veteran Andrés Iniesta will need to pass a late fitness test if he's to be given the nod after a midweek knock. They'll also be without Javier Mascherano, whose suspension will allow Samuel Umtiti to slot into defence alongside Gerard Piqué.

3. Barcelona have won every meeting with Eibar since the Basque minnows made their top flight debut two seasons ago. They won 4-0 on their last visit to the Ipurúa, with Lionel Messi netting a brace alongside goals from Munir and Luis Suárez.
