Christian Pulisic scores outrageous opening goal for USMNT

He’s seriously just 19.

It only took eight minutes for the United States men’s national team to get on the board against Panama on Friday, thanks to Christian Pulisic. Any doubters he might have had before this goal have surely evaporated with this play that put the USMNT up 1-0.

Bobby Wood’s flicked header off the goal kick was great, as was Jozy Altidore’s touch. But let’s be real — all the magic here comes from Pulisic. The way he blows past the defense, rounds the keeper and finishes from a narrow angle is incredible.

Christian Pulisic has arrived. He’s already the best American player ever at just 19 years old.
