Leganes vs. Barcelona 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Barcelona should be able to coast, but they need to keep their focus against a team that’s been punching above their weight this season.

Barcelona have been running away with La Liga early this season, not losing a single match this season so far and dominating most of their wins. Coming out of the international break with a big Champions League match looming, they’re set to face a struggling side in Leganes — but they can’t afford to just take this match off, lest their dominant start to the season come to a sudden end.

Leganes have lost their last two matches to send them down to ninth place, but they’ve been a solid team most of the season, pipping a big win over Athletic Club a month ago and getting a key point off Atletico Madrid in September. Their two losses were to Sevilla and Valencia — the sixth- and third-place teams in La Liga, respectively — and both matches were well played by the much smaller team, with even the 3-0 loss to Valencia was played closer than the score looked, with an odd second-half breakdown and a late penalty making the match look more out of hand than it was.

On the injury front, the absence of Sergi Roberto presents some potential options for Ernesto Valverde at right back. Does he start Nelson Semedo, who Barcelona spent a fair amount of money on this summer but has struggled with inconsistent playing time, or does he turn to Aleix Vidal, who has played decently this season but in a more advanced position? Meanwhile, they’re still dealing with some injuries to Arda Turan, Javier Mascherano, Ousmane Dembele, Andre Gomes, and Rafinha, leaving them thin all over the pitch. Leganes, meanwhile, are missing Omar Ramos, Serantes, and Nordin Amrabat, robbing them of some key depth as well.
