Lionel Messi’s assist for the final goal in El Clásico was brilliant, and it capped off a sensational man of the match performance.

But there’s something you might not have noticed in that video — Messi did it with one of his shoes missing. Real Madrid couldn’t stop a barefoot Messi.

Barcelona is now 14 points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga, and Messi is having one of the best seasons of his career. Even taking off his boots can’t slow him down.
