Atlético Madrid vs. Barcelona 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch online

Two La Liga titans clash at the Calderón on Sunday.

Real Madrid's shock defeat to Valencia in midweek has allowed Barcelona to move within a point of the La Liga leaders, though the pacesetters do still have a game-in-hand. Barça will be hoping to provisionally move into top spot on Sunday, when they travel to face Atlético Madrid at the Calderón.

Both sides head into this match in good form: Atléti have won four of their last five matches in all competitions, and three on the bounce in the league. They’ve moved up to fourth place, and would close their deficit to Barça to just three points with a win. However, the Catalans recovered from a humiliation against PSG in the first leg of their Champions League knockout tie with a 2-1 win over Leganés, and too have won three straight games in the league.

Three big things to know

1. Atléti will be without long-term absentees Augusto Fernández and Tiago, while this game will come too soon for full-back Juanfran. Centre-back Diego Godín could return alongside Stefan Savić after a spell on the treatment table.

2. Barça are boosted by the return of Sergio Busquets from suspension. That means their only confirmed absentee is full-back Aleix Vidal, who looks set to miss the remainder of the season. Sergi Roberto should start on the right side of defence in his place. Javier Mascherano faces a late fitness test.

3. This will be the third meeting between these sides in the last month. They were drawn against each other in the Copa del Rey, with Barça winning 2-1 away at the Calderón before being held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture.
