Real Madrid vs. Villarreal 2017 live stream: Start time, TV channel, and how to watch online

Real Madrid are running out of cushion atop La Liga, and they need to fix the mistakes that cost them their last match.

Real Madrid had a little bit of a stumble at midweek, seeming to sleepwalk through their match against Valencia, which cost them in the form of a 2-1 loss. Villarreal will be hoping for a similar lack of attention on Sunday, though that seems unlikely given the fact that Real are probably going to be angry and hyperfocused on the task at hand.

Making things more straightforward for Madrid in this game is that their next two matches before they need to step it up again look fairly straightforward, leaving them able to fully focus in on this match and right what went wrong on Wednesday. Villarreal haven’t been bad by any means this season, but they’re definitely not on Real Madrid’s level right now — even if Madrid are running out of room for error in the standings in La Liga.
