The Bundesliga is starting to take on a familiar pattern, with Bayern Munich sitting atop Germany’s first division and threatening to pull away with the calendar heading into February. As they get set to play on Saturday, though, Bayern can try to make something unfamiliar happen: They can push Schalke closer to the relegation battle.

Right now, Die Königsblauen are just five points above the relegation zone, the kind of gap that can disappear in a heartbeat if one or more of the teams below them get hot, especially with Schalke set to face some of the other teams in the top end of the Bundesliga table.

Schalke haven’t been in the second division in Germany since 1991 and have only spent a handful of years outside of the 1.Bundesliga, so fighting relegation would certainly be a departure from the norm. It’s a situation they’d rather like to avoid, but Schalke have been disappointing at best this season, and they need to be a lot better than just disappointing to stay away from the drop zone.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you can stream it on the Fox Soccer 2GO subscription service, or depending on your internet provider, you can watch on Fox Sports Go for free. In Germany, the match will be streaming on Sky Go Deutschland, and for listings in other countries you can check out LiveSoccerTV.

TV: Fox Sports 1 (U.S.), Sky Bundesliga 1/HD, 2/HD (Germany)

Match Date/Time: Saturday, 9:30 a.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. local
