We’re not in an official FIFA international window, but that doesn’t always stop national teams from playing friendlies, and that’s certainly no exception for Mexico. El Tri are going to be in action in Las Vegas on Wednesday, hosting Iceland in a friendly to help prepare for the coming grind of World Cup qualification in CONCACAF.
Mexico vs. Iceland 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online
Mexico have a good chance to get key players time on the pitch together before World Cup qualifiers resume.

Despite not having access to most of their non-domestic players, Mexico are still bringing a strong squad to bear against an Iceland side made up mostly of reserves and players buried low on the normal depth chart. El Tri will be hoping for big performances from a few players who will get a bit more freedom than usual thanks to bigger roles in this match, including the likes of Gio dos Santos and Hirving Lozano, who will be essentially running Mexico’s attack in this match.
This will be a great opportunity to tune the side up a bit before matches start counting again in March, and Mexico needs to take full advantage of the opportunity. Nothing short of a thrashing of Iceland will do for El Tri fans, and this promises to be a fast-paced, end-to-end match because of it.
To watch this match online in the U.S. you can stream it on Univision NOW. The match won’t be online in Mexico or Iceland, but for listings in other countries you can check out LiveSoccerTV.
