Minnesota United vs. Atlanta United 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch MLS online

The two newest teams in MLS square off in what could be a heavily weather-influenced game.

It’s going to be a bitter cold day in Minnesota, but the action on the pitch at TCF Bank Stadium promises to be white hot as the two newest teams in Major League Soccer square off against one another for the first time. Minnesota United are hosting their first home match in MLS, and Atlanta United are coming in eager to really start to get their franchise rolling.

Both teams are looking for their first MLS win after each lost their debuts last week, though of the two, Atlanta looked like the much stronger team. Its attack is vicious and they showed a strong spine to their team, something that Minnesota lacked in its debut. The Loons do look like they have a potent attack themselves, though, and if they can use an excited home crowd to their advantage, they could be able to hit just hard enough to take all three points.

Of course, there’s the factor of the elements to consider as well. TCF Bank Stadium is an open-air college football stadium in Minnesota, after all, and it’s still winter — and the forecast has the weather being below freezing with a high chance of snow before kickoff. Snow makes soccer matches incredibly unpredictable, which will make this match a very, very interesting one to watch if the weather does become a factor.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you can stream it on WatchESPN. In Canada, it will be on MLS Live, and for listings in other countries you can check out LiveSoccerTV.

TV: ESPN2 (U.S.)
