Lineups are out for the United States men’s national team’s World Cup qualifying match against Panama, and both teams have made changes.
USA vs. Panama lineups: Team news for World Cup qualifying
Graham Zusi has been handed a surprise start after Geoff Cameron picked up an injury.

The big news for the United States is that Geoff Cameron has picked up an injury, making the American back line even thinner. Graham Zusi has entered in his place.
Bruce Arena’s other changes are enforced due to injury, though both were previously known. Jermaine Jones comes in for Sebastian Lletget and Tim Ream replaces John Brooks. Otherwise, the USMNT is unchanged. It’s not clear if the team will have a different shape or if they’ll keep the diamond, just a bit less aggressive. Our best guess is something resembling a 4-2-3-1.
Panama has changed their formation a bit, as well. They’ve dropped a winger and moved Armando Cooper out wide in order to play two strikers — Luis Tejada and Gabriel Torres — up top.
Panama lineup (4-4-2): Jamie Penedo; Luis Ovalle, Roman Torres, Felipe Baloy, Adolofo Machado; Alberto Quintero, Anibal Godoy, Gabriel Gomez, Armando Cooper; Gabriel Torres, Luis Tejada
United States lineup (4-2-3-1): Tim Howard; Jorge Villafaña, Tim Ream, Omar Gonzalez, Graham Zusi; Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jones; Christian Pulisic, Clint Dempsey, Darlington Nagbe; Jozy Altidore
Kickoff is at 10 p.m. ET. You can watch in English on beIN Sports and in Spanish on Telemundo.
