Bayern Munich vs. Köln 2017: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

A win for Bayern could be a bitter blow to Köln’s dreams of winning a European place.

The race for European places in Germany is only just heating up, with the slugfest for the third and final guaranteed Champions League spot turning into a four-way brawl with just five points between four excellent clubs. There’s one team snapping at their heels, though, with Köln two points behind that pack and hoping they can snap up a Europa League spot from one of those teams — but a loss to Bayern Munich this weekend might just start to push that dream out of reach.

Köln are in a bit of a tailspin right now, winless in their last four matches with three losses, and winning just three league matches since the end of October. They once looked like they could potentially challenge for a Champions League spot themselves, but right now the Goats just need to stem the bleeding and get themselves on the right path again, or else they’re going to quickly find themselves out of competition for a European spot.

That bleeding will almost certainly continue this weekend, though, with Bayern Munich surging and unbeaten since November. They look practically unbeatable right now, and even once-white-hot RB Leipzig are starting to fall behind them in the Bundesliga title race. This doesn’t look like a match that Köln can win — but if they can somehow get a point at home out of it, that could be just the boost they need to start turning things around at long last.

To watch this match online in the United States you can stream it on the Fox Soccer 2GO subscription service, or freely on Fox Sports Go with certain internet providers. In Germany, it will be on Sky Go Deutschland, and for viewing options in other countries you can check out the listings on LiveSoccerTV.
