Bayern Munich got some bad news on Tuesday when Robert Lewandowski left training early. Lewandowski hurt his shoulder against Borussia Dortmund over the weekend, and he hasn’t completed a full training session since.
Robert Lewandowski might not be fit to play in Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid
And Bayern doesn’t have a clear replacement.

While you could argue for any number of Bayern’s players being their “best,” Lewandowski is perhaps the only star that has nothing close to a like-for-like replacement on the bench. Without him, Bayern might have to change the way they play.
If Lewandowski can’t start, his most likely replacement is Thomas Müller. The former World Cup golden boot winner has had the worst season of his career in 2016-17, but all his bad form will be forgotten if he turns in an excellent performance against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
