Leicester vs. Atlético Madrid live stream: How to watch Champions League online

Leicester City are behind in this Champions League tie, but as they head home they’re far from done against Atlético Madrid.

The Champions League quarterfinals are coming to their conclusion, and one of the more interesting ties of the round is heading to England with just one goal between the two teams. Leicester City come into this match against Atlético Madrid trailing by one goal — which is arguably a much better position coming into the home leg of the tie than they were likely expecting to be in.

With the fallen Premier League champions finally finding a vein of form lately, they’ve actually started looking more like the Leicester City of old. That worked in their favor in scraping their way to holding Atlético to a 1-0 win, with the only goal the Foxes gave up coming on a penalty that was, at best, very questionable. Now, with the home crowd behind them, they have a chance, albeit a narrow one, to score a huge upset and make the Champions League semifinals.

Of course, to do that they’ll have to out-think and out-work Diego Simeone’s side, and that’s significantly easier to say than it is to execute. Simeone wasn’t happy with the outcome in the first leg last week, and his team already took out some of their frustrations from the weekend in La Liga action — but now it’s time for them to refocus and get the job done in hostile territory, and that’s become a specialty of Atlético Madrid over the last few years.
