It’s going to be a fascinating matchup to watch play out, with the two teams having split their two league matchups this season. Each team won at home, with Chelsea mounting a second-half comeback to win 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, and Tottenham cruising to a 2-0 win at White Hart Lane. With the semifinal happening on neutral ground at Wembley, anything can happen this time around, and seeing these two top-shelf teams trying to figure each other out should be incredibly entertaining.
Chelsea aren’t going to be outright missing any players, but they have a quartet of injured players who are in varying degrees of doubt and won’t be at 100 percent if they do play: Thibaut Courtois, Victor Moses, Marcos Alonso, and Gary Cahill. The potential absences of Moses and Alonso may impact Antonio Conte’s tactical plans, but if Conte is known for anything, it’s being flexible enough to change his plans on the fly.
