Spain’s biggest game and arguably the most important club fixture in the world returns on Sunday when Real Madrid hosts Barcelona in El Clásico. Madrid enters the game with a three point lead in the La Liga standings, so the Blaugrana need a win away from home to take control of their own destiny in the title race.

Sergio Ramos has had one of the best goal-scoring seasons of his career, and he produced a dramatic moment in the first meeting between these teams. His 90th minute equalizer saved a point for Madrid, and it’s a big reason why they’re on top of the league going into the second Clásico of the season.

The most important missing player for either side in El Clásico will be Neymar. Barcelona attempted to get his suspension repealed or delayed, but failed and accepted that he’ll be unavailable on Sunday. The Blaugrana are also missing Aleix Vidal. Real Madrid is without Pepe, while Raphäel Varane is not expected to be fit to start after recently returning from injury.
