The end of the season in the Premier League is rapidly approaching, and Manchester City are still feeling the pressure to keep performing. And with a suddenly hot Leicester City team coming to the Etihad Stadium, they need to stay on their game or risk falling out of the top four.

A loss in this match would give Arsenal the chance to catch Manchester on points, leaving the Citizens knowing that one more lost point would likely see the Gunners pass them in the table for fourth place, leaving Pep Guardiola and company staring at the Champions League from the outside.

That’s not a position that’s acceptable for Manchester City, so you should expect to see them come out swinging in this match against a Leicester City side that’s finding momentum in the last gasp of the season. The Foxes have won two straight, and another win could see them surpass West Brom in the table to climb into eighth place. That would be a vast improvement over the relegation-threatened place they were in a few months ago and a huge incentive for them to perform well in this match. A win is far from guaranteed, but they do have the capability to catch City off guard and make this a hell of a game.

Manchester City have been struggling somewhat with injuries of late, but they’re finally starting to get healthy at the end of the season. Each of Sergio Aguero, Fabian Delph, and John Stones are expected to be available for this match after missing time of late, though their exact level of fitness is unknown. Claudio Bravo will still be out, but having much of their formation’s spine back will be a big relief to Manchester.

Leicester City’s health is in a much less beneficial place, though, with Robert Huth, Danny Drinkwater, Wes Morgan, Nampalys Mendy, and Molla Wague all expected to miss out. One or two of those players may be available in a pinch, but they would only be healthy enough to play an emergency role off the bench. That’s a lot of depth to be missing against a team like Manchester City, making Leicester’s job much more difficult in this match.
