Cameroon vs. Australia live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch Confederations Cup online

There's much on the line in Thursday's Confederations Cup clash between Cameroon and Australia — or at least as much as there can be in this glorified friendly tournament. That's because both sides kicked off their campaigns with defeats: Cameroon conceded twice in the final 10 minutes to lose 2-0 to Chile, while Australia lost an entertaining encounter with Germany by the narrow scoreline of 3-2. That means a defeat for either side would prove terminal to their hopes of progressing into the knockout round.

Cameroon head into the game in poor form, with their loss to Chile coming on the back of a comprehensive 4-0 thrashing by Colombia earlier in the month. Their manager Hugo Broos has hit out at the tournament's organisation after his side arrived an hour late to their opening fixture, claiming it was a problem with St. Petersburg's traffic. That the excuses are being dished out already probably isn't a great sign for Africa's only representatives in Russia.

As for Australia, Ange Postecoglou's men suffered a heavy defeat to Brazil in their last friendly before the Confederations Cup got underway, though that came on the back of an eight game unbeaten streak. Their impressive performance against Germany should give them hope that they can go on and pick up all three points on Thursday.
