Juventus take on Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League in Cardiff on Saturday. It is — lest you need reminding — the most prestigious trophy in all of European club football, and will hopefully bring a spectacular climax to the long and arduous domestic season.

Real Madrid are looking to become the first team in history to win back-to-back Champions League titles, having beaten Atlético Madrid on penalties in last year’s final in Milan. Juve, meanwhile, haven’t lifted the cup since 1996, though their last final came only two years ago; alas, they were beaten 3-1 by Barcelona in Berlin.

For this match, Juventus’ only absentee is youngster Marko Pjaca, who will likely miss the start of next season after tearing his ACL. Coach Allegri will be able to name a full strength team regardless. Real Madrid may not be quite so lucky: they have no confirmed absentees, though Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale will both have to pass late fitness tests if they’re to feature.
