This put the Americans up 1-0, and they’ll feel like it was deservedly so. They dominated possession throughout the first half, and they didn’t let Jamaica get a single shot on target. However, Jamaica will be wondering if their first-choice goalkeeper would have saved it — Andre Blake, arguably the player of the tournament, exited in the first half with a hand injury.
