There’s one match left in the Singapore leg of the International Champions Cup this summer, and the only team with a perfect record in Asia this summer is defending that record as Inter Milan look for one more win as they square off against defending English Premier League champions Chelsea.
Chelsea vs. Inter Milan 2017: Start time, TV schedule, and live stream for International Champions Cup
Chelsea and Inter close out the Singapore leg of the International Champions Cup.

Inter won in impressive fashion against Bayern Munich just two days ago, and they’ll be hoping to overcome Chelsea on short rest, especially since that match was played on short rest after beating Lyon on Monday in China. The English club lost to Bayern five days ago, and will want to get out of the ICC with something to be proud of, and ending the one perfect record in the competition in Asia would be a good way of doing just that.
Fun Chelsea player to watch: Michy Batshuayi
Batshuayi was one of the few bright spots for Chelsea against Bayern, and with the team in a bit of flux up front right now, he could be in line for a bigger role this upcoming season — if he can keep proving that he can perform at the level Chelsea need from him, which was a problem a year ago. Another strong showing here could be what he needs to get the ball rolling in the right direction again, and Batshuayi will be working very hard to get the job done.
Fun Inter Milan player to watch: Marcelo Brozovic
When Brozovic is on his game, he’s one of the most entertaining midfielders to watch. With a high-octane work rate and a phenomenal, effective presence in the final third, he’s constantly flying around the pitch making plays happen. He looked good in a substitute appearance against Bayern, and with Luciano Spalletti likely to rotate heavily for this match, he’s going to get a chance to show his new boss just how good he can be.
Compared to other friendlies, is this worth my time?
Chelsea are one of the best sides in Europe, and Inter Milan want to get back to that level. With the right kind of performance, that could make this a very compelling match as each club tries to prove their superiority — but each of the first two Singapore ICC matches lacked a certain cutting edge needed to take them to that level, and there’s not much reason to think this will be very different. 4/10.
