In his first Premier League game back with his boyhood club, Rooney put the Toffees ahead in the first half.
The Toffees had a tough first half against Stoke City, but came up with an excellent move at the end of the period. Goals don’t get much more well-worked than this, and Rooney’s header was perfect.
