Juventus have been the dominant force in Italy for a long time, but as they prepare for the new Serie A season they might be feeling a bit more pressure than normal heading into their season-opening tilt with Cagliari.
Juventus vs. Cagliari 2017 live stream: Game time, TV schedule, and how to watch online
Juventus need to start well in a rapidly-changing Serie A landscape.

That’s because this is a very different Serie A than we’ve seen the last few years. Both Milan teams look to be on the rise after years of doldrums, while Juventus haven’t really progressed much this season — if at all, considering the loss of key defender Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan. Juventus need to get off to a white-hot start to the season to help themselves cement their place atop the Italian pyramid, because this season looks like it’s going to be a wide-open brawl for Italian supremacy.
Juventus have their full squad available, including their newest signing, Blaise Matuidi, who just signed on Friday. Cagliarli will only be missing Marco Borriello, who is being left home after entering talks with newly-promoted Serie A side SPAL for a possible transfer. Juventus fans will be slightly sad to see him stay home, as his record against his former club is abysmal, with Borriello scoring just twice against the bianconeri in 19 matches.
