Champions League draw live results: Groupings as they’re known

Follow along live as all 32 teams learn their groups for the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The UEFA Champions League group stage draw is made on Thursday, when the 32 remaining teams will learn their path to a European championship. This year’s draw sets up some very interesting possibilities for potential groups of death.

Reigning champions Real Madrid are in Pot 1, along with fellow powerhouses and league champions Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Juventus. But the new rules that put league winners in Pot 1 ahead of teams with higher coefficients makes Pot 2 just as strong. That pot features Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and both Manchesters United and City.

It’s possible to get multiple groups of death with the draw set up this way. Real Madrid, PSG, Napoli, and RB Leipzig could be one group, while Bayern, Barca, Tottenham, and Sporting Lisbon could make up another.

The draw show is a long one, with multiple awards and other segments between pots being drawn. The groups won’t be set until at least an hour after the draw starts.

This post will update live as the draw is made. Refresh to see the latest results below.
