Each MLS team will get a chance to strengthen its roster with multiple young players on Friday as the 2018 MLS SuperDraft takes place in Philadelphia.

Six players have signed Generation Adidas contracts, and therefore will not count against the salary cap of the team that selects them. Those players are Joao Moutinho, Ema Twumasi, Mason Toye, Mo Adams, Francis Atuahene, and Gordon Wild. Tomas Hilliard-Arce of Stanford and Christopher Mueller of Wisconsin are seniors and were not eligible for Generation Adidas contracts, but are expected to be picked early in the first round.

This is a live blog that will update as selections are made. The draft gets underway just after 11 a.m. ET. You can watch the draft on the MLS website and on its YouTube channel.
