Real Madrid are in full and complete control of their Champions League quarterfinal tie with Juventus, having defeated the Italians in their home stadium, 3-0, giving Madrid a massive advantage heading back home to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But Juventus can’t be counted out just yet — yes their form is all over the place right now, but they still have enough attacking firepower to be dangerous in a situation like this if Real Madrid get complacent. We’ve already seen one major upset in the quarterfinal round with Roma coming back to stun Barcelona on Tuesday, and we even saw Liverpool head to the Etihad Stadium and beat Manchester City away from home. There’s strange tidings afoot in the Champions League, and Real Madrid can’t afford to assume they already have the tie won.

But with Cristiano Ronaldo already having scored in an incredible 10 straight Champions League matches and looking to add to that, plus Zinedine Zidane having his side laser-focused of late, there should be little to worry about for Madrid fans. “Should” being the operative word, but this Madrid side is playing at a much higher level than they were even six weeks ago, so as long as they can maintain that energy and focus, there might just be too big a hill for Juventus to climb no matter how well they play today.
