The World Cup has hit the end of the group stage, which means things are getting hectic. Multiple games are happening at the same time for the first time of Russia 2018 — and it’s become a little confusing for viewers.

Why are games happening simultaneously all of a sudden?
The last round of group games are always scheduled to happen at the same time. It was a decision by FIFA to try and eliminate teams knowing exactly what they needed to move forward. This thwarted attempts for teams to manipulate the results by pressuring draws, or doctoring their goal differential to finish higher, lower, or eliminate other teams by their performance.
This has made it ... challenging.
Monday is the first day we’re seeing multiple games at the same time, and soccer fans have a brutal decision to make already. Both Portugal and Spain are playing in critical games which could determine their fate moving forward — which has led to people coming up with ways to make it work.
