Serbian soccer fans trolled their rivals with the ‘Looney Tunes’ theme song

Red Star ultras, thankfully, have found a cheekier way to troll their opponents than the violence and racism that they’re known for.

Fans of Crvena Zvezda — better known in the English-speaking world as Red Star Belgrade — have a reputation for being the most intense in world soccer. They regularly take their support too far, having been cited multiples times by UEFA for violent and racist behavior. So it’s a very positive sign to see the Red Star ultras may be pivoting to trolling.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more devastating troll than drowning out your rival supporters with Looney Tunes music. It’s so simple, but so funny.

I laugh harder every time the video restarts.

How do you even respond to the rival supporters who did this to you? There’s nothing. There is no counter-own. You have been owned into oblivion.

I sincerely hope the Red Star ultras have taken a good hard look at themselves, decided violence and racism are bad, and are rebranding by instead trying to come up with creative ways to piss off rival fans or make them look stupid.
