Manchester City has only one loss in its last 26 road matches owning a 20-5-1 record over that stretch. The club will try to continue its success on the road this Monday when it visits Wembley Stadium to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City is a -140 road favorite on the Premier League odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. While Manchester City has the same overall record this season as Liverpool at 7-2-0, the club has a considerably larger goal differential with 26 goals for to Liverpool’s 16 while both teams have allowed only three goals.

The defending champions still appear to be the team to beat, and games like this against elite competition will go a long way in determining what team winds up on top of the table at the end of the year.

Tottenham Hotspur (+350 to win, +315 to draw) opened the season with three straight wins before dropping back-to-back games to Watford and Liverpool. Since those losses, Tottenham has won four straight matches; though all four of those wins have come against teams sitting outside of the top ten on the table.

A favorable result against Manchester City would establish Tottenham as a legitimate contender. Tottenham was 3-1-0 in its previous four games against Manchester City before losing both of its matches against them last season.

Liverpool has a much easier assignment this week going off as a -1000 betting favorite this Saturday at home against Cardiff City. Cardiff City (+2500 to win, +900 to draw) picked up its first victory of the season last week against Fulham to improve to 1-2-6 in 2018.

Entering this weekend’s action there is a three-way tie for third place as Chelsea (6-3-0), Tottenham (7-0-2) and Arsenal (7-0-2) all have 21 points, two points behind Manchester City and Liverpool.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both on the road this Sunday as Chelsea (-280) visits Burnley FC (+900 to win, +390 to draw) and Arsenal (-125) takes on Crystal Palace (+340 to win, +315 to draw). With its 3-1 win at home over Leicester City last Monday, Arsenal kept its hot streak alive with a seventh straight win.
