Notre Dame got four passing touchdowns from its new starting quarterback in last Saturday’s 38-17 win over No. 7 Stanford, making a major statement in the process.

Virginia Tech Hokies

The Hokies would be ranked a lot higher if not for a stunning meltdown at Old Dominion in their third game, losing 49-35 as a 28-point road favorite.
