Finally healthy after an injury-riddled year in 2017, the Texans defense has re-established itself as one of the league’s best units. Houston ranks fifth in the NFL in scoring defense allowing 20.5 points per game and seventh in total yards allowing 330.5 yards per game.
The defense playing so much better has taken the pressure off Deshaun Watson and the offense this season, allowing the team to fall into a good rhythm on both sides of the ball.
Houston’s 0-3 start coupled with so many other teams around the league dominating the headlines has caused the Texans’ seven-game winning streak to fly under the radar.

At 5-5 SU and 6-4 ATS, the Titans have been one of the NFL’s most confusing teams this season. Back-to-back double-digit wins over the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots suggested that the Titans had turned a corner and could make a late push to challenge Houston for the top spot in the AFC South.
Then last week, the Titans looked totally lost in a 38-10 road loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Fans and bettors have to be wondering what version of the Titans will show up this week.
