NFL odds 2018, Week 10: Betting trends and analysis for the top games

The red hot New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints both face road tests this Sunday afternoon to highlight the Week 10 NFL betting slate at the sportsbooks.

The New England Patriots are 6-0 straight up and 5-1 against the spread over their last six games. The Patriots will try to extend their winning streak to seven this Sunday on the road against the Tennessee Titans.

New England is a 7-point road favorite in Tennessee at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. After closing as just a 5-point favorite at home against the Green Bay Packers, the Patriots easily covered the spread with a 31-17 victory. The Patriots are 7-0 SU in their last seven games against the Titans and 5-0 ATS over their last five, winning those seven games by an average margin of 20.9 points per game.

The New Orleans Saints solidified themselves as a Super Bowl contender last Sunday with a 45-35 win at home over the Los Angeles Rams, improving to 7-0 SU over their last seven games and 6-0 ATS over their last six. The Saints will play their third road game in four weeks this Sunday when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals as 4.5-point road favorites. Cincinnati is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in its last five games against the Saints.

The Rams will try to bounce back from their first loss of the season this Sunday as 10-point favorites hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Los Angeles is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in its last seven games against division rivals per the OddsShark NFL Database. Seattle is just 2-8 ATS in its last 10 games as a double-digit underdog.

Arizona is 0-4 SU in its last four games against the Kansas City Chiefs with an average margin of defeat of 25.3 points per game. Given the history between these two teams and their current forms, the Chiefs are a whopping 16.5-point favorite at home against the Cardinals this Sunday.

This week’s prime time games are Carolina at Pittsburgh (-4) on Thursday Night Football, Dallas at Philadelphia (-6.5) on Sunday Night Football and the New York Giants at San Francisco (-3) on Monday Night Football. San Francisco and New York enter their Monday night matchup with a combined record of 3-14 SU and 6-11 ATS.
