The No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners finished the regular season with an 11-1 straight up and 4-7-1 against the spread record with their only loss of the year coming against the No. 14 Texas Longhorns. The Sooners will try to avenge that loss and lock up a fourth straight Big 12 championship with a win this Saturday over their rivals.

Betting Line / Total: Oklahoma -8 / 78.5 Points
Oklahoma Sooners
For most teams, allowing 47.3 points per game over a four game span would probably result in a four game losing streak. But for the Sooners all four of their November games were wins including last Saturday’s 59-56 road victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Since defeating Army in a sloppy 28-21 game back on September 22, Oklahoma has scored at least 45 points over each of its last eight games and is averaging a whopping 53.4 points per game over that stretch.
In their last 10 games played in Week 14, the Sooners are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS per the OddsShark College Football Database.
Texas Longhorns
Texas catapulted itself into the College Football Playoff discussion with its win over Oklahoma before eventually falling out of that conversation with back-to-back losses to Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
The Longhorns finished the regular season on a 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS run to earn a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game with a 9-3 SU and 5-6-1 ATS record. All told, Texas’ three losses have only been by a combined nine points.
Saturday afternoon’s total is set at 78.5 points. The OVER is 11-1-1 in Oklahoma’s last 13 games.
The Sooners are in excellent position to make the College Football Playoff for the second straight year. A win over the Longhorns coupled with a No. 4 Georgia loss to No. 1 Alabama would likely do the trick, assuming the team doesn’t get jumped by No. 6 Ohio State. Win or lose, this should be a wild ride with plenty of offense on both sides of the ball if the rest of Oklahoma’s season is any indication.
