Manchester City looks to get back to its winning ways to close the gap with Liverpool on the table as one of the betting favorites at sportsbooks for this week’s EPL slate.

Manchester City is a -600 favorite at home on the Premier League odds this Monday against the Wolves (+1600 to win, +650 to draw) at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. City started the season off undefeated with a 13-2-0 record through its first 15 games before shockingly losing three of its next four matches, two in a row as a big favorites against Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
Manchester City recovered with a 3-1 road win over Southampton and a 2-1 win at home over Liverpool, but at 16-2-3 the club is no longer in control of its own destiny.
Liverpool missed out on a golden opportunity to put a huge wedge between itself and Manchester City and picked up its first loss of the season last week. But at 17-3-1, Liverpool still stands as the team to beat and has no more games against Manchester City left on the schedule. This Saturday the first place club will look to get a new unbeaten streak going as -335 road betting favorites at Brighton (+950 to win, +475 to draw).
Sitting only two points back of Manchester City heading into this week’s action, Tottenham will try to take care of business at home as a +110 favorite hosting Manchester United (+265 to win, +265 to draw).
Tottenham had a five-game winning streak snapped in a 3-1 loss to the Wolves in its final game of 2018 but bounced back with a 3-0 road win over Cardiff City the following game. Manchester United has been playing great since the club sacked Jose Mourinho with a perfect 4-0-0 record over its last four games.
Rounding out the top five teams on the table, Chelsea is a -450 home favorite hosting Newcastle (+1400 to win, +550 to draw) and Arsenal is at +100 going on the road to take on West Ham United (+255 to win, +280 to draw). Chelsea has been held scoreless in its last two home games and is 0-1-1 over that stretch.
