UFC Fight Night 154 odds and betting trends for Saturday

Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung both look to get back in the win column at UFC Fight Night 154, with Moicano the betting favorite for their main event matchup.

Renato Moicano fell to 13-2-1 as a professional when he was defeated by Jose Aldo at UFC Fight Night 144. Moicano will try to avoid a second straight loss when he takes on the Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, in the main event of UFC Fight Night 154 on Saturday night.

Moicano is a -200 favorite to earn the win in South Carolina on the UFC odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The 30-year-old kicked off his professional career with an 11-0-1 run before being handed his first loss by Brian Ortega at UFC 214. He bounced back from that loss with two wins before losing to Aldo in his last bout in the octagon.

Chan Sung Jung (+160) had a 3-0 record in the UFC before losing to Aldo in the main event of UFC 163. After that loss, he returned to South Korea to serve his mandatory stint in the military. Since his return, Sung Jung is 1-1 with a knockout win over Dennis Bermudez and a knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez, falling to 14-5 as a professional.

The co-main event features John Lineker (-220) taking on Rob Font (+170) in what should be an intriguing bantamweight bout. Lineker recently demanded his release from the UFC if they did not find him a fight, so this spot on the card is one that the Brazilian isn’t likely to take for granted. The 29-year-old lost his last fight to Cory Sandhagen but was 8-1 in his previous nine fights for the company.

One of those fights was a win over Font at UFC 198. That fight was Font’s third in the UFC, and since then he’s gone 4-2 over his next six fights including a win in his most recent bout against Sergio Pettis. Font is 16-4 as a professional and could see his stock rise if he is able to avenge that 2016 loss.

Rounding out the main card on Saturday night are Bryan Barberena (-275) vs. Randy Brown (+215), Andrea Lee (-210) vs. Montana De La Rosa (+170) and Kevin Holland (-225) vs. Alessio Di Chirico (+175). Lee is 6-0 over her last six fights and De La Rosa is 4-0 over her last four.
