2011 BNP Parbias Masters Results: Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer All Advance In Straight Sets

No. 1 seeded Novak Djokovic defeated Ivan Dodig 6-4,6-3.
Andy Murray, the tournament’s No. 2 seed, beat Jeremy Chardy, 6-2, 6-4. Murray’s last loss was to Rafael Nadal in the semifinals of the 2011 U.S. Open.

Despite complaining about shoulder pains in his semifinal loss to Kei Nishikori in last week’s Swiss Indoors, Djokovic said his shoulder wasn’t an interference on court Wednesday.
“I took the necessary measures in the last couple of days in order to recover (and) play in this tournament,” Djokovic said. “I’m feeling good on the court and that’s what matters.”
