Back in September, Venus Williams withdrew from the U.S. Open with an immune system disease. Two months later, Williams that she will make her comeback match against her sister Serena in Colombia on Wednesday. Serena hasn’t played since losing to Sam Stosur in the finals of the U.S. Open. After Venus found out she had Sjogren’s syndrome, which can cause fatigue and joint pain, she joined her diet to fit her needs. She now eats more vegetables.

“I did a lot of medical therapy and a serious evaluation of my diet to understand which foods help control the symptoms better,” Venus Williams told the Gazzetta, which is sponsoring the Milan exhibition.
Williams, whose ranking fell to No. 103 mainly due to her injuries, plans to return to the WTA Tour in January with the sights of the London Olympics and a return to the top of the singles and doubles rankings in the next 12 months.
"I want to play all year long," Williams said. "I've still got a lot of work to do but it doesn't scare me - I'm used to it."
