Former French Open champion Yannick Noah accused Spanish athletes of using banned substances on Saturday.
Spaniards React To Yannick Noah’s Drug Accusations

How else, Noah asked, were the Spanish so big compared to the French? He also criticized the stringent testing by his own country.
Well, that lead to some reaction by some Spaniards in the ATP, such as David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez. Via Tennis.com:
Spanish tennis player David Ferrer reacted, telling DPA: “Your son [Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls] plays in the NBA, where there are no doping controls. This is not the best person to talk, I think it’s total ignorance. For a person who has played tennis and knows how the sport works to say that is outrageous with reason or thinking.”
As for Lopez, he tweeted his reaction that the player he once looked to as a hero could say such things.
Then on Sunday, Frenchman Michael Llorda apologized to Spaniard and current World No. 2 Rafael Nadal about Noah’s comments. Also via Tennis.com:
“I’m sorry about what Noah said,” Llodra was quoted as saying, to which the Nadal’s responded: “We don’t understand.” Llodra then allegedly said: “He’s stupid and maybe he was...” and then made a gesture tipping his hand toward his mouth to indicate that Noah might have been drinking.
